Last night I dusted off and tuned up an old track that I made from a pair of half-speed classical loops, a lot of reverb and crackle, and a touch of Joseph Campbell.
This thing’s been drifting in and out of my headphones for nearly three years now, becoming a moody companion on late-night walks. I keep fiddling with it, never feeling confident enough to share it. But it’s time to let it go. My aim was to create something contemplative yet tense, which more or less captures my sense of faith.
