Kiva

Created a series of presentations, reports, newsletters, wireframes, website modules, and borrower profiles for this microfinance non-profit that provides loans to low-income entrepreneurs and students in 77 countries. 

Drawing upon photography-driven design, the annual reports present Kiva’s work through borrower stories and data visualizations that demonstrate the impact of lenders. Additionally, a range of print and digital collateral was developed alongside editorial design, copyediting, wireframes, and new features for the website. Research and copywriting led to fifty borrower profiles, bolstering Kiva’s mission with user-centered narratives that spotlight subjects such as climate change, education, and gender equity.
